More and Blessed Foundation Launches Homework Support Class in Cape Three Points
On 18th January 2025, More and Blessed Foundation officially launched a homework support class for schoolchildren in Cape Three Points, a vibrant community in the Western Region of Ghana. This initiative, aimed at fostering educational growth, brings together local young men who have volunteered to assist the children with their homework after school while also teaching them additional subjects to broaden their knowledge.
The launch was marked by the distribution of essential learning materials, including textbooks, exercise books, pens, pencils, and crayons. These resources were generously donated by friends and partners of the Foundation, ensuring that the children have the tools needed for effective learning.
This programme seeks to address challenges faced by students in completing their homework and grasping key academic concepts. By providing personalised guidance in subjects like mathematics, English, and science, the volunteers aim to boost the confidence and academic performance of the children.
Looking ahead, More and Blessed Foundation has ambitious plans to expand its impact. Beyond supporting the children, the Foundation intends to start an adult education class for parents in the community. This future initiative will provide parents with valuable literacy and numeracy skills, empowering them to play a more active role in their children’s education and personal development.
The Foundation extends heartfelt gratitude to the volunteers and all supporters who made this project possible. Through such collective efforts, More and Blessed Foundation is committed to nurturing brighter futures for families in Cape Three Points and beyond.
